Bouncers appear to go way overboard as a means to deter others from stepping out of line but ultimately it leads to people hating bouncers. I remember seeing a group of rugby players out on a birthday night kicking the shit out of 3 bouncers because they disrespected them at the door. I've never had a problem with bouncers because I'm so small they wouldn't bother (and if they did they would be sued to high? heaven) but I've seen things happen.
