Suzuki DRZ400 3X3 mod as described www.thumpertalk.com. Do some research before doing this mod. This was my interoperation of the mod. The biggest difference would be the 3x3 hole make sure you do a 3x3=9. Use a calculator and figure it out 3x3=9, what ever you do make sure it = 9. Example: a * b = 9

Just wanted to say that this is a great mod that applies to any DRZ400 that has a CV carb (later E, an all S and SM models). I did it and it really makes the bike run smoother as faster. It also the first motor mod that you should do, even before changing the muffler or head pipe.? As those mods require different jetting anyways. Excellent video rbrtplly!!!

@transoprtcontrols You could always get a bigger fuel tank. It will affect your gas mileage, since it? is essentially putting more of the air/fuel mixture into the motor. However, your mileage should still be around 50 with a 3x3 mod and rejet.

@epicstove you can? just buy the jets that are in the kit and raise the needle to the higest position, the main jet is £3 of a dealer or of a auction site (like $5 or sumthing) leave the pilot as it is and just go up main jet size. As you are using a filter and the same pilot jet you can just leave the mixture screw alone with its protective plug. if you have a performance filter you go up to a bigger jet. Dyno jet stickers are a £1 aswell.

@mike31jmb I just listened on my studio monitors just to? make sure. You can hear it especially at around the 3:20 mark, but it's throughout the whole video. The playing and tone is phenomenal, but the additional reverb they're adding in their DAW doesn't give a good representation of the real sound of the amp.

Will this amp be enough stage volume for small and medium clubs? My amps are always mic'd for the house, But never in my monitor (because it's always loud enough, and an amp mic'd into my monitor mix sounds like poo to? me). So I need to hear my amp over my "medium" handed drummer. I am playing a Z prescription ES 2x12 right now and I rarely get to turn it up to the sweet spot, and it's breaking my back 4 nights a week at 68 lbs(105 lbs. in roadcase).. Your thoughts?

Are you really really sure on point 1 and 2? 4. If you are sure then,? Speedometers are never accurate, some are worse than others but a speedo will always be over. My 335i BMW is supposed to be limited at 255 kph but when the limiter comes on the speedo is reading 270 kph. thats because speedometers are inaccurate.

Just to let you clowns know, Suzuki listed the 2005 DRZ400S (the more powerful model) at a top speed of approximatly 75mph. When you put a tiny sprocket on the back, and ride down a mine shaft for? a few miles, is not an indication of true speed. 102mph... pffft "rolls eyes"
